Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa introduced the platform’s new “Easy Returns” service through a post on X, highlighting that its goal to ease customer concerns about over sizing in the clothing and footwear categories. The service is designed to minimize return-related anxity by offering a quick and hassle-free solutions.

He further said, “The best part is that returns or exchanges will happen within 10 minutes of submitting a request! We’ve been testing this in Delhi NCR for few weeks and have now rolled it out in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune. More cities will be added soon!”

While Blinkit yet to release specific details on how the 10-minute return process will oprate, it is expected that users will initiate the request through the Blinkit App. However, a dedicated pickup service will likely be involved, to ensuring the return or exchange is completed within the promised 10-minute window.

According to reports, this ould be a significant move for Blinkit, as it will allows the customers to shop without the stress of worrying about specifications like size and fit. Even if issues arise sfter receiving an order, the quick return process provides peace of mind, enhancing the overall shopping experience.

Zomato-owned Blinkit, along with its competitors, are making an entry into the fashion sector, expanding their product offerings to include a wide range of item from well-known brands such as Adidas, Pepe, FabIndia, Jockey, Boldfit, XYXX, US Polo Association, and more.

By delivering products within 10-30 minutes, these quick commerce platforms are providing customers with more convenient and time-sensitive alternative to the traditional e-commerce platforms.

Zepto, another major player in the quick-commerce space, is also reportedly offer a return policy within the first 72 hours if the products are found to be damaged or defective.

Blinkit revises it ‘Zero Notice’ Policy with Two-Month Notice Period for Key Employees

Blinkit has updated its employment contracts, especially for key employees, by replacing its “zero notice” policy with a “two -month” notice period for several top-level positions, Moneycontrol reported.

This change comes in response to increasing competition within India’s $5.5 billion quick-commerce market. Blinkit is facing mounting pressure from rivals like Zepto, Flipkart, and Swiggy, all of whom are aggressively competing to attract and retain top talent in this rapidly expanding sector.

A source mentioned in the report highlighted that well-funded companies like Zepto or Flipkart could present attractive packages to Blinkit employees, encouraging them to leave. The introduction of the extended notice period is aimed to help Blinkit retain its workforce and reduce the risk of losing employees to competitors.
